DARE 3D Viewer is a powerful desktop application that provides cross-section inspection, display mode switching, assembly tree visibility control, and DWG export. It supports your engineering workflow by bridging the gap between 3D model verification and CAD operations.
DARE 3D Viewer supports real-time slicing along the X, Y, and Z axes. By adjusting the sliders, you can move the cut plane and display the cross-section of the model at any position. Since this feature does not alter the original geometry, you can safely inspect internal structures, component overlaps, internal spaces, and placement relationships without damaging the model.
You can cycle through multiple display modes depending on your objective:
In complex 3D models, keeping all components visible can obstruct the view of specific areas. Using the Assembly Tree, you can select parts or sub-assemblies and toggle their visibility. This allows you to focus only on necessary components or temporarily hide surrounding parts, making structural verification much more efficient. It also supports bulk visibility toggling for seamless overall assembly management.
Use the Sphere Gizmo on the viewport to instantly switch between standard views and isometric views. It supports Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Front, and Back directions, as well as diagonal isometric views. View transitions animate smoothly, helping you maintain orientation and speed up the inspection process.
Models can be exported directly into the DWG format. This enables you to take the verified model and share it immediately within your CAD application or pass it on to downstream processes, maximizing the utility of your 3D assets within your primary CAD workflow.
